In the last year, lots of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and also the perspective of
acim, on the popular book and movie The Secret. I was also recently asked to participate in a professional panel discussion on The Secret as well as the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.

While i see it, The Secret offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.

The very first message is the fact that our thoughts possess a powerful affect on our life. The next insight is that we are entitled to a wealthy life, although true wealth is much more than just cash and "toys." Instead, it requires feeling fulfilled in every areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we need to do is look within to discover if, in fact, we feel value authentic wealth.

Another message that is subtly conveyed within the Secret, and one that I believe really was, is that once we have a heartfelt desire and that we say yes to doing our part to manifest the need, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces stand out.

On the flip side, Personally i think the idea that more "toys" in the form of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats can make us happy and will be the type of our ability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people who are already "bankrupt" inside the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The problem with this picture would be that the desire to have often comes from a feeling of lack rather than a feeling of completeness. These types of this, whatever we gain in about feeling "full," whole, happy, or accomplished, will in the end not work, since we feel a void internally.

The fact is that we are not empty, but already full, so when we understand and feel this to become our new reality, then the outer world starts to "echo" our inner awareness.

A Course in Miracles reminds us that as far as that we can accept and become truly grateful for your inheritance as being an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we’ll attract to ourselves the perfect outward expressions in our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our authentic Self will likely then miraculously bring into manifestation any material items which will serve the greater good of both our life as well as those around us, but we will feel no dependency upon them for our happiness.

So, in order to know and live the Real Secret, find your Authentic Self, reclaim it-and your real inheritance will observe.
